4.10 Torque

Pre-reading Question: In the picture below, where should Linus (the student in the green shirt) sit so that Charlie Brown (in the orange shirt) is not lifted into the air?



Textbook reading: Walker section 11-1 (pages 333-336) has a lot of great real-life examples of Torque. Pay special attention to the figures, images and captions. Also, note the equations and information highlighted with vertical red lines (like the definition of Torque on page 333).
