3.8 Impulse and Force-Time Graphs

Pre-reading question: (multiple choice)
If a raw egg is thrown as hard as possible at a wall, it will break. What will happen if it is thrown just as hard at a loose bed sheet?

a. It will break
b. It won’t break
c. It might break (depends on the thrower)
d. Breaking eggs is wasteful and we shouldn’t do it

•What is the speed of the block when it reaches the bottom of the ramp?
