3.6 Energy Conservation Level II

Pre-reading question: Conceptual question 6 on page 244.


Textbook reading: The conceptual checkpoint 8-1 on page 231 is pretty much pure gold in terms of information.  If you can understand why both girls have the same speed at the bottom of the slide, that knowledge will make energy conservation problems infinitely easier.

Post-reading question: Question 18 on page 246. Don’t forget to pick the correct explanation.
